UPSC Civil Services examination 2014 www.upsc.gov.in : UPSC - Union Public Service Commission has announced a notification for 2014 UPSC exam,

applications are available online for the 1st step to the Civil Services Preliminary exams, due date for the application is dated by June-30-2014.

Civil Services Preliminary exam 2014 would be conducted by UPSC Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of eligible candidates to various Central Government services such as the IAS - Indian Administrative Service and the IFS - Indian Foreign Service. Exam is held in 2 steps, one is Civil Service Preliminary exam and the other one is Civil Service Mains exam.

Only the qualified candidates of the Civil Services Preliminary exam are eligible for the Civil Services Main exam and the IFS - Indian Forest Services Mains exam. The Civil Services Main exam is held in 2 steps, one is essay writing and a personality test [interview] while the Civil Services Preliminary exam would conduct written test [objective type questions only].
