SBI Clerk 2014 Recruitment www.sbi.co.in : SBI - State Bank of India has announced a notification for recruitment to 5,000 posts of clerk.



This exam is conducted to select and also shortlist the candidates. Registration is available started from the date May-26-2014 and will end by the date June-14-2014. Online examinations likely to be held in the months of July and August.


The clerical cadre pay-scale for the employees is Rs.7200/-/Rs.19300 & the approximate salary for clerical cadre at metro cities like Mumbai can be Rs.17500 /month approximately.

Eligible Criteria :

Age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years, as dated on May-1-2014 [+3 yrs for OBC, +5 yrs for SC/ST].
Graduation degree from any recognized university, as dated on Aug-31-2014.
Mandatory thing to the candidates is to write and speak English, local language knowledge is deserved.
Candidates have to indulge in marketing, cross sell products and services.

Candidates persuing degree Final year are eligible to apply but should provide a proof of passing the degree exam on or before the date August-31-2014, if called for interview.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates are selected and also short listed by State Bank of India on the merit basis in the written test & interview. About the written test, it shall be objective type in the following sections.

English
Quantitative aptitude
General awareness
Reasoning
Marketing aptitude & Computers


The online test would be held for 200 marks where each section carries 40 marks. Candidates should pass in each and every objective test that carries 0.25 as negative mark.

Based on the 1:3 ratio, candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview.
